Kristin Wihera currently works as the Director of Fund Operations at Nucleus Institute. She leads the day-to-day operations of Nucleus Fund, a $40M state-backed venture fund focused on early-stage deep tech innovation in Utah. She brings a breadth of experience in defense, energy, biotechnology, and investing. 

Kristin previously served as a Naval Officer in the US Navy. During her service, she led Sailors in ship operations, Naval Nuclear Propulsion, and the Navy Wounded Warrior program. Kristin holds an MBA and an MS in Biotechnology, both from Harvard University, and a BS in Human Physiology from Boston University.
